America – Home of the Brave, Land that I Love
When I think of America, I think about Mount Rushmore, bald eagles, and the American flag. All of these are symbols of America.
Mount Rushmore has four presidents’ faces carved into the Black Hills of South Dakota. These presidents were all great leaders of America.
The bald eagle stands for freedom, courage, and strength. It is on the one dollar bill. The bald eagle also reminds me of our protectors, like the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines.
The American flag is a symbol of freedom and rights for Americans. The fifty stars stand for our fifty states. I like to look for flags while my mom and I are driving. I like to say the Pledge of Allegiance everyday at school.
Mount Rushmore, bald eagles, and the American flag are all symbols of America. I feel good about being an American. I love living in America. America Rocks! I mean it! I LOVE AMERICA!
