There is a unicorn in my bedroom.
He has entered from my window.
With silvery wings and coat of starlight,
I jump onto his back and we fly into the night.
Above the clouds, above the earth,
We’re dodging stars and planets.
The cool, dark wind felt from all around,
The damp scent of early morning dewdrops gathered.
We’re soaring through a navy sky,
And I’m feeling a subtle touch of magic.
Soon I will be back,
Snuggly wrapped in quilted blankets.
Once more my eyes will sleep,
But not before I say farewell.
Tomorrow I will see him again.
For this night only, farewell.
Tomorrow we will journey through clouds.
For this night only, farewell.
