The Bad Dream
I lay here praying to God everyday
Hoping to keep the devil at bay
While
I’m awake going through these rainy days
All the different pains
Shivering from the rain
But it helps the stains of life
Wash away
Only to return the next day
As I walk
To
Through and from
All the different towns
I stand and watch the devil take
Family
Friends
Enemies
And people I don’t care about at all
In his razor-like hand
With a wicked ass grin
While he walks by my side
Passing by all those souls that got caught
Webs of lies the spider leaves behind
Trying to rescue as many as I can
I try
I fail
I get tangled
Wishing I had prayed sooner
Now it is too late
But wait
There it is
The light of Heaven
No!
No!
Hell
The spider’s spell worked
It wasn’t he
Who killed me
Who killed them
The web was deceiving
Shadows and smoke
Deceit
The Devil
Making me think he’s the one
I’m strangled
By my own hand
As I lay deep asleep
I’m now walking in a deep transition
Creeping to the tree
I see
Always in my dream.
